Short campaigns

In May 2020 JMU’s Madison for Keeps campaign was so successful — reaching our fundraising goal for the month in the first 24 hours — that we re-set the goal and pushed on to garner more than $750,000 in emergency scholarship aid. This digital-only campaign required focused collaboration with the Office of Annual Giving. I developed messaging and crafted email solicitations.

In March 2021 our 24-hour online campaign to raise money and attract new donors, JMU's fifth Giving Day raised more than $880,000 for programs all over JMU.

For our 2021 Giving Day, I assisted OAG with planning, crafted the marketing brief, came up with the theme/slogan ("Keep GOing DUKES," which plays on JMU's "Go Dukes" catchphrase and set the tone of persistence and encouragement), provided creative direction, wrote promotional materials and developed more than a half-dozen heavily segmented email solicitations.
